What can I say about Beata?
There are so many amazing things that putting into words is most certainly a difficult feat. I have chosen her for maternity and for family photography time and time again because her photos are the stories I am unable to put into words. She is able to make pictures into art. Her pictures are like poetry, telling the stories we want to hear again and again. I want that in a photographer. I want to be able to look back at pictures and know they are timeless. Recall the memories, the thoughts, the ideas that floated around when I asked her to tell a story.
I couldn't fathom having someone else take our maternity and family pictures. She simply is the best.

Your life is a beautiful adventure filled with stolen kisses, tight bear hugs, loud belly laughs, and simple everyday moments that make you smile. These moments slip away from us so quietly that we don’t ever see them go. These are the moments you hope to never forget, moments you hope to re-visit as they quietly pass. That is why family photos are so special. It is trying to hold on to those little things as our children grow, the laughter, the kisses, those close deep embraces that make you feel at home.

Family sessions are a relaxed and enjoyable experience so I can capture genuine expressions and interactions. I will not be focusing on the “look at the camera say cheese” types of images during our time. I typically capture a few of those for you , but my focus is to capture you and your family as your true self, connecting with your tribe! Your experience is just as important to me as your photos and I offer styling assistance with every session. I scout unique locations that offer beautiful scenery to fit your needs. I am there every step of the way to help plan your family photo shoot! We will work together to plan a meaningful session for you to create new memories with your family, Together you will walk hand in hand, tickle, chase and play games as I capture timeless photos that express your feelings as a mother and the details that make up your journey!

WHERE ARE YOU BASED OUT OF?

Living near Toronto, Canada. I primarily work out of the greater Toronto area but shoot weddings all over Ontario.also willing to travel this beautiful country, so hit me up!

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?

I am currently booking 2022 but I still have a few dates available in 2021. Make sure you inquire early if you are interested because dates can go pretty fast!

HOW DO WE BOOK A SESSION WITH YOU?

Super standard process: Signed Contract + non-refundable Retainer officially books a session with me. I will send you an information package and we can start planning your shoot!!!

DO YOU HELP WITH THE PLANNING PROCESS?

Of course! My clients will receive a Session Guide that has information and a questionnaire for them to help plan their perfect day. Also, I'm always an email/phone call away to help with any of the logistics.

WHEN DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

when scheduling an outdoor portrait session. I will always shoot during the last 2 hours of the day during the week Monday to Friday. The sun is in the perfect place in the sky falling just behind you. This results in glowing, warm, sun kissed photographs. Shooting in the middle of the day results in neon glowing grass and dark shadows in your face. For in home or studio sessions any time during the day works fine.

WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?

Im a mix of intimate connection and goofy play. I absolutely love capturing intimacy and honesty with bursts of laughter and play. I want to create photos for you that are you, so dont expect much static poses and forced smiles. I want our day together to be effortless and fun. Be ready to move around, laugh, dance infront of a sunset and forget that your being photographed.

CAN WE PRINT OUR PHOTOS?

Yes absolutely. This is definitely encouraged, I think your photos should live in picture frames on your nightstand and adorn your walls. I recommend printing through a professional lab for best resuts (Pikto is local in Canada as is Posterjack - they are both great quality) I recommend turning off "auto enchance" as your images are already enchanced for printing.

WILL ANY OF THE PHOTOS BE IN BLACK AND WHITE?

Yes! All of them actually. I offer both colour and black and white, in both print and social media versions for optimal posting quality.

CAN WE SHARE OUR PHOTOS?

Absolutely, there are your photos. Share away, whether on Social Media, print or giving them to friends and family as gifts.

HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL SESSION?

That usually depends on the type of session as well as any travel involved with locations. I usually recommend setting aside 1.5 - 2 hours for our session. I love to take the time to connect with you during the shoot and there is nothing worse than being in a hurry.

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS NOT BEHAVING?

I think all parents worry about this, I know I do whenever I have my family photographed! The great thing about my style of photography is that it takes place outside where they can run around to their heart’s delight! I’ve experienced many different types of children, and I pride myself on getting the best out of each different personality, but if your little one decides to throw a mega wobbly half way through the session, it’s no problem. I’ll just start shooting again once they’ve cheered up!
